ARRL Field Day

Saturday, June 27 to Sunday, June 28

ARRL Field Day is the most popular on-the-air event held annually in the US and Canada. On the fourth weekend of June, more than 35,000 radio amateurs gather with their clubs, groups or simply with friends to operate from remote locations.

All are welcome to join members of the North Hills Radio Club as they participate in the 2026 ARRL Field Day.  It doesn't matter what you're there for, the hot dogs, to watch the setup (or you can help?), to watch radio contacts being made, or to make radio contacts yourself, you're invited to come out and have a grand time.

Set up starts around 7am on Saturday June 27, with radio operations starting at 11am and continuing around the clock until 11am the next day.

The location being used for Field Day is Sacramento Group Camping Area Sites #4 and #5 at the Brannan Island State Recreation Area near Rio Vista.  There is a $10 day use fee.  Take the road all the way to the end and turn left into the Group Camping Area.  We’re at the far end of the loop by the bathrooms.

Drop in visitors during Field Day are welcome.  Radio talk-in into Brannan Island SRA will be on the K6IS repeater (145.190, -, 162.2) and 147.555 simplex.

If there are any questions/problems/issues please contact the NHRC Field Day Staff at fieldday@k6is.org.
