Club meeting

Tuesday, July 21 @ 19:00
This is the North Hills Radio Club's monthly general meeting, and will take place both in-person and on Zoom.
Our July Members' meeting presentation will be given by NHRC Life Member Glenn, WA7SPY. Glenn will demonstrate CW operations via remote operation using a Yaesu FT-710 HF radio with the Yaesu SCU-LAN 10 remote adapter, and discuss Python scripts he has written for Raspberry Pi, a mini-server with solid state USB relay, and a Mac Air. This presentation will be of interest to those wishing to learn CW, with interest in remote radio operations, and computer scripts and hardware.
The in-person meeting will be held at the Arcade Library near the intersection of Fulton Ave and Marconi Ave, next to the Taco Bell.
In addition to current club members, anyone interested in ham radio is welcome to join us.
For those unable to attend in-person, the meeting will be conducted in hybrid format with Zoom. Zoom is a videotelephony and online chat service offered through a cloud-based peer-to-peer software platform and is used for teleconferencing, telecommuting, distance education, and social relations.
