Off The Grid Event at Tahoe Park was a huge success !
We took our radios and antennas to the park this sunny April day .
We had a great turnout and lots of Hams were able to get on the air and practice what we do best...
This definitely worked as a pre-summer field day event and we had operators from five different clubs sort out any issues they might have with their equipment.
The official ARRL Summer Field Day is on June 22-23, and we will be at Davis Ranch for the whole weekend trying to make contacts all around the world.
Our next "Off the Grid" exercise will most likely be in September. We will see you there.
